About Premier Cryogenics

Premier Cryogenics Limited is a Guwahati-based manufacturer of industrial and medical gases. From its air-separation unit it produces liquid and gaseous oxygen, nitrogen and argon, with carbon dioxide and specialty mixtures, and distributes them in cylinders, cryogenic liquid tankers and on-site storage to hospitals and nursing homes, the Numaligarh and Guwahati refineries and other oil-and-gas operators, steel re-rollers, engineering workshops and food processors across Assam and the neighbouring North-Eastern states. Medical oxygen demand surged in 2020–21, when the company was one of the region's principal suppliers.

The company was incorporated in Assam in 1993, among the first private air-separation plants in the North-East, and remains closely held by its promoter family and a small base of Guwahati-area investors; it is a public limited company whose shares are in demat under ISIN INE101F01017 and trade occasionally through unlisted-share dealers. Registry identifiers (CIN, authorised capital), the current board and the auditor could not be verified in this research pass.

Financials are not disclosed in any source reachable from this sandbox. The table shows research-desk estimates — revenue in the ₹40–50 Cr range with mid-single-digit crore profits and a lightly geared balance sheet — reconstructed around approximate totals from earlier dealer research; they are placeholders, not reported figures. Dealer pages describe a regular, modest dividend.

Recent developments known from dealer coverage are limited to the adoption of FY25 accounts and continuation of the dividend; no capex, order or stake-change news was found. Planify's page gives a 52-week trading range of ₹230–₹318 and a price of ₹299.10 on 21 Jul 2026; wwipl's last traded price is ₹300.

Valuation at the listed rate: UnlistedZone's indicative price is ₹323, but it is dated 25 Sep 2021 — the page has not been refreshed since — and is used here because the user asked for the UnlistedZone rate; current dealer quotes are about 7% lower at ₹299–₹300. On the estimated 0.45 Cr shares of ₹10, ₹323 implies a market capitalisation of about ₹145 Cr, roughly 40 times estimated FY25 profit and about 4 times estimated book value — multiples that depend entirely on the unverified share count and earnings, so verify both before relying on them.

Verification status (10 Oct 2026): identity, ISIN, dealer prices and the 52-week range are from UnlistedZone, Planify and wwipl search snippets. The business description comes from dealer research and regional press knowledge. Incorporation date, registered-office detail, CIN, share count, all financial line items, directors, dividends and shareholding are unverified estimates pending the FY25 annual report and MCA records.

Nitrogen and argon

Nitrogen for refinery and oil-field purging, food packaging and pharma; argon for welding and metallurgy.

Carbon dioxide and gas mixtures

CO2 for beverages and welding, plus calibration and specialty mixtures.

Cryogenic storage and cylinder services

On-site liquid storage tanks, cylinder testing and rental for institutional customers.

What works

  • • Regional incumbency: one of the few air-separation plants in the North-East, where transporting liquid gases from the rest of India is slow and costly, giving pricing power with hospitals and refineries.
  • • Essential, recurring demand — medical oxygen, refinery nitrogen and industrial oxygen are consumed continuously and are largely insulated from fashion or export cycles.
  • • Small, conservatively financed company with a record of paying dividends, per dealer coverage.
  • • Demat-enabled public limited company with an ISIN, so transfers settle like any other unlisted share.

What to watch

  • • Scale: revenue is estimated at under ₹50 Cr, and a single plant means outage, power-cost or safety incidents hit the whole business.
  • • Competition from captive oxygen plants installed by hospitals after 2021 and from national gas majors expanding into the North-East.
  • • Stale rate: UnlistedZone's ₹323 dates from September 2021; live dealer quotes are ₹299–₹300 and volumes are thin.
  • • No audited financials, CIN, board list or share count could be verified for this profile — every valuation multiple shown is an estimate.
