About Ticker

Ticker Limited (formerly TickerPlant Limited) is a Mumbai-based financial market data and analytics company that has operated since 2005 within the 63 moons technologies (erstwhile Financial Technologies) group. Its flagship MarketView terminal delivers real-time exchange feeds, charting and analytics on a subscription model, alongside data APIs for brokers and fintechs, advisory tools and wealth-management solutions.

The company has historically been a modest-revenue, loss-making business subsidised by its parent while it built out its data infrastructure. In November 2025 it allotted 7.3 Cr shares at ₹20 each in a private placement, raising ₹146 Cr to fund product development and distribution of its retail-facing platforms.

Dealer quotes moved from ₹18–22 during 2025 to ₹28.50 in January 2026, with a 52-week range of ₹20–40. At the current ₹28 the market values the company at roughly ₹560 Cr on our estimate of about 20 Cr shares outstanding.

Registry identifiers and audited figures could not be retrieved for this profile; the share count, revenue and balance-sheet line items are reconstructed around the reported placement and treat them as approximate.

What works

  • Two decades of exchange-feed and terminal technology built inside the Financial Technologies / 63 moons group.
  • ₹146 Cr of fresh capital in November 2025 removes near-term funding risk and funds a push into retail analytics and APIs.
  • Subscription revenue model with high gross margins once scale is reached.

What to watch

  • Small revenue base and a history of losses; profitability depends on converting new capital into paying subscribers.
  • Competes with entrenched data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, broker-bundled terminals) and free retail charting tools.
  • Group-controlled company with limited public disclosure; the unlisted price already sits about 40% above the November 2025 placement price.
